Barry Croft, Appealing Conviction in Gov. Whitmer "Kidnapping Plot," Outlines Issues with Case
Writing from the SHU at Terre Haute Supermax, Mr. Croft urges people to look into the misconduct in his case.
May 17, 2023 - Barry Croft, one of the men entrapped and framed by the FBI in the Gov. Whitmer “kidnapping plot” case, currently appealing his conviction, writes from the SHU at Terre Haute Supermax.
Mr. Croft urges people to look into the many issues with his case as it languishes on the docket at the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Here is his letter, where he outlines various issues with the case:
This was really sad and the government played that clip numerous times to try to make Barry look like a bad father. Barry raised all three of his daughters without any help from their mother. He adores his girls and this was taken completely out of context.
The audio that was picked up by FBI informants, where they say incriminating things, should have been presented to the jury.
The defense witnesses were all threatened by the government. That should not have been allowed to happen. The defense had NO witnesses to present.
The government actually claimed that Barry Croft was some kind of “national leader,” of the Three Percenter militia. This is not true and it was the government, via informant CHS Steve Robeson, who was posing as a fake “patriot three percent” national militia.
They never got a speedy trial, nor a “jury of ones peers.”
This is a big issue for the appeal, juror and judicial misconduct is very serious and that alone should get the convictions of Adam and Barry thrown out.
The government knew there was never any WMDs in this case, but this isn’t the first time they have concocted wild and false claims about WMDs to justify something grotesque and horrific.
Twenty years ago they made up lies about non-existent WMDs to launch the “Global War on Terror.” In 2023 they make up lies about non-existent WMDs to launch the new “War on Domestic Terror.”
Nothing has changed, and therein lies the problem.
